2nd place among the best city hotels

Gourmet restaurant, rooftop spa, cigar lounge, chauffeur service: our Relais & Châteaux Hotel Bülow Palais in Dresden's baroque quarter is one of the city's top addresses. We have now been honoured once again in a ranking based on guest reviews by Connoisseur Circle magazine and the rating platform TrustYou. In the "City Hotels" category, we have confirmed first place in central Germany and second place nationwide together with a hotel from Berlin!

The "Best Hotels" ranking is the only one in which hotels in the luxury segment in Germany, Austria, Switzerland and South Tyrol are evaluated in a standardised way. The market leader for online reputation management Trustyou provides the database with guest reviews, surveys and social media entries on around half a million hotels worldwide. In addition to analysing guest feedback, the final ranking is also based on the ratings of a jury of tourism experts and the results of a public vote among hotel guests.


Our Bülow Palais Dresden is one of the top hotels in Germany. Location, service, cleanliness, value for money: the privately run hotel consistently receives top marks in these categories. In June 2023, we were honoured by Tripadvisor with the "Travellers' Choice Best of the Best Award"; in the same year, the Saxon State Ministry for Science, Culture and Tourism named the housekeeping staff as tourism heroes in Saxony. The cuisine is also excellent: the "Gault & Millau" gastronomy guide awarded two toques to the Caroussel Nouvelle restaurant in the Bülow Palais.
